China assails US policy for support of Israel

China, in a surprisingly harsh attack, denounced the United States Monday for supporting ''an Israel steeped in evil'' and seeking domination in the Middle East.

Premier Zhao Ziyang told King Hussein of Jordan that ''Israel's ferocity in committing aggression is directly connected with the connivance and support of the United States.'' King Hussein arrived Sunday at the head of an Arab League delegation of foreign ministers.
