Ginny Eleanor Foat, California president of the National Organization for Women, was in jail without bond Thursday, vowing to fight extradition to Louisiana to face murder charges in the death of an Argentine businessman 17 years ago.
A Nevada prosecutor said Ms. Foat was also suspected of killing another man in Lake Tahoe a month after the Louisiana incident. Ms. Foat was arrested on the first warrant Tuesday.
