Tour of recent American art

''Contemporary American Art Since 1960,'' an exhibit organized by the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, will have traveled to Lisbon, Madrid, and Nuremberg by the time it returns to the United States in April.

About 160 paintings, sculptures, watercolors, pastels, and drawings by more than 105 American artists are included, among them Chuck Close, Mel Ramos, and Andrew Wyeth.

The exhibition is sponsored by the United States Information Agency.
