Surprisingly, - Michael Fagan, the Buckingham Palace intruder who invaded the Queen's bedroom last July, has been freed from a mental hospital. No charges were ever brought in connection with the incident.

Perhaps there are mitigating circumstances in the case not publicly known. But it does strike outsiders as a strange way to uphold the law and set an example for the British nation.
