Shuttling

Challenger is back and getting a fill-up and lube job before taking off again in June. A slight simplification. But the space shuttle is beginning to seem more and more like a shuttle, a commuter bus capable of going back and forth without too much turnaround time. Why are we saying what everybody knows? It is part of a continuing struggle not to become too blase about absolutely everything when absolutely anything seems to be possible.
