Costa Rica said it stopped a Panamanian ship that was apparently carrying explosives destined for Nicaragua. A government communique said authorities found 100 tons of explosives and detonators aboard the ''Lewbi,'' registered in Panama. The ship was towed to the Costa Rican port of Puntarenas after it developed engine trouble at sea.
