Mrs. Thatcher will change Cabinet if she wins again

London
Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher called for a decisive mandate in today's (June 9) general elections and indicated she would make changes in her Cabinet if reelected.
Public opinion polls point to a landslide victory for Thatcher's Conservative Party over the opposition Labour Party and the centrist Liberal-Social Democratic alliance. The prime minister has refused to be drawn out publicly on what Cabinet changes she has in mind, but political sources suggested Foreign Secretary Francis Pym might be replaced.
