Reagan says he'll fire any guilty campaign aides

Washington
President Reagan said he is willing to fire any aide found guilty of wrongdoing in his 1980 election campaign against then-President Jimmy Carter. Reagan made this comment shortly after he ordered his senior staff to tell investigators all they know about the use by his campaign team of papers obtained from the Carter White House. He also said he himself would submit to direct oral questioning if investigators thought it necessary.
