Weinberger to participate in maneuvers in Honduras

Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger announced he will visit Central America next month to view US military exercises in the troubled region. Mr. Weinberger said he will travel to Panama, El Salvador, and Honduras Sept. 6 to 8 to participate firsthand in joint US military maneuvers in Honduras. He also plans to consult with officials and review military-aid programs of the three countries.
