George Meegan has finished his 19,021-mile walk to the other end of the earth , almost seven years after he set out from the barren southern tip of South America. The British merchant sailor completed his marathon journey Sunday, planting the flags of 16 nations on the shore of the Arctic Ocean. Mr. Meegan's press agent said the walk represents the longest continuous foot journey in history.
