Greyhound buses roll with nonunion drivers

Greyhound buses returned to the nation's roads Thursday for the first time in two weeks with nonunion drivers, escorted by police and security guards, driving past pickets.

Pickets were arrested in Detroit, Washington, and Boston for trying to stop the nearly empty buses, parked since Nov. 3. Greyhound and union officials were to negotiate Thursday, but neither side expected a quick settlement.
