Scottish separatists' bomb causes jitters in Britain
Scottish nationalists said they bombed a London barracks early Saturday and threatened a wave of bombings in Britain. The Scottish National Liberation Army, which claimed responsibility in September for letter bombs sent to two Cabinet ministers, made the warning. Police said the blast slightly injured five people.
Meanwhile, police in Belfast warned Christmas shoppers that IRA terrorists were planning a series of firebomb attacks against Northern Ireland shopping areas. The head of Scotland Yard's antiterrorist squad said the squad was on ''full alert.''
