President Reagan affirms faith in USIA head Wick
President Reagan said that US Information Agency director Charles Z. Wick, under scrutiny by Congress for taping telephone conversations with government leaders and others, ''has done a splendid job.''
''I think the Voice of America, the whole United States Information Agency, is far superior to anything that has ever been and he is going to continue there ,'' Reagan said Friday.
