All OK at Iranian oil port, Norwegian skipper says
All's well at the Iranian Kharg Island oil export terminal, according to the captain of a Norwegian oil tanker there. The captain of the Norwegian tanker Berge King said in a radio message to Oslo that he had completed loading a cargo of crude oil at Kharg terminal Thursday after arriving there Monday - the day Iraq claimed an attack had taken place.
A spokesman for the ship's owners said the captain reported there had been no incidents of any kind during his stay.
Iran has repeatedly threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz - the key channel for Gulf oil trade - if Iraq disrupted deliveries there.
