South African-Swaziland peace agreement disclosed

South Africa and Swaziland disclosed Saturday that they had signed a secret peace agreement more than two years ago. The pact, similar to a March 17 accord between South Africa and Mozambique prohibiting either country from supporting rebels opposed to the other's government, has been in effect since Feb. 17, 1982, Foreign Minister Roelof ''Pik'' Botha said.

The two pacts are seen as attempts by South Africa to curb guerrilla activity by the African National Congress, which opposes white rule in South Africa. Pretoria has also reached a separate cease-fire agreement with Angola.
