No flaws in N.Y. primary, city elections chief says

Board of Elections Director Bea Dolan said Wednesday a recount of the April 3 Democratic presidential primary vote sought by the Rev. Jesse Jackson has shown no irregularities.

An attorney for Mr. Jackson, Gilbert Holmes, went into court the day after the primary asking that city voting machines be impounded because of reports that some may have been tampered with.

Former Vice-President Walter Mondale was the winner in the vote, with Sen. Gary Hart edging out Jackson for second place.
