US asks other countries to give no A-help to Iran
The United States said Wednesday it has asked other countries not to provide nuclear technology to Iran, citing doubts on whether it would continue to abide by treaty commitments not to make a nuclear bomb.
''Previous actions of the government of Iran do not provide us with great assurance that it will always abide by its international commitments,'' the State Department said.
But the department discounted press reports that Iran would be able to build a bomb within two years.
