Lebanese Cabinet outlines security, with a cease-fire
Lebanon's Cabinet has agreed on a ''security plan that includes arrangements for a total cease-fire,'' Prime Minister Rashid Karami said Wednesday. Mr. Karami also said his government will employ all necessary means to ''put an end'' to repressive Israeli acts against the south Lebanon and western Bekaa populations.
Karami said he would summon the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council to inform them of ''irregular and inhuman measures'' being undertaken in those areas. (The permanent UN members are the US , Soviet Union, France, Britain, and Dhina.)
''I will and we will also call on humanitarian organizations to investigate, '' he said.
