Chinese observers doubt Soviet tie can be revived
China accused the Soviet Union Monday of becoming more stubborn and hostile and said the two countries could never recover their past friendship. Writing in the latest issue of the official Peking Review, political commentators Zi Xu and Wang Jinqing attacked Soviet support for Vietnam and questioned whether Sino-Soviet relations had improved recently.
''The real problem lies in the fact that while the Soviets attempt to control us, we are opposed to being controlled,'' Mr. Wang saidChina and the Soviet Union split over ideological differences in 1960.
