De Lorean acquitted on cocaine charges

Former automaker John De Lorean was found innocent Thursday of charges he tried to save his failing Northern Ireland sports car firm through a $24 million cocaine deal.

The jury acquitted Mr. De Lorean on all eight counts. If convicted, he would have faced a maximum penalty of 67 years in prison and $185,000 in fines.
