Reagan drops by space center to hail a source of opportunity
President Reagan, linking technology to his campaign themes, saluted space agency employees Thursday, saying they had ignited a revolution that is transforming the ''great black night of space into a bright new world of opportunities.''
The President traveled to Goddard Space Flight Center here to visit one of the seven National Aeronautics and Space Administration facilities. He toured the technology exhibits and addressed the top-ranking 500 of the center's 8,000 employees.
