Ferraro: Reagan has failed to reduce the risk of war

In her first foray into foreign policy, Geraldine Ferraro is bluntly portraying President Reagan as a failure in his responsibility to reduce the risk of war. She attacked Mr. Reagan as an insensitive, military-minded man who sees force rather than diplomacy as the solution to conflicts. Ms. Ferraro was in Kansas City yesterday, holding a question-and-answer session with high school students.
