Talk circle in Belgrade court charged with 'hostile activity'

Six men accused of ''hostile activity'' for discussing politics went on trial here yesterday in what is basically a test case for freedom of speech in one of the most liberal communist countries. The six were indicted Aug. 6 after police cracked down on their informal discussion group. They are charged with conspiring to overthrow the government and face sentences of five to 15 years in prison if convicted.
