Foreign-affairs portfolios to shift in Paris and Bonn
Hans Dietrich Genscher of West Germany and Claude Cheysson of France are expected to step down within the next three months, according to informed diplomatic sources.
The West German foreign minister is likely to be succeeded by the flamboyant leader of Bavaria's Christian Social Party, Hans Josef Strauss. France's foreign minister will make way for Roland Dumas, now the spokesman for the French government, Monitor correspondent Louis Wiznitzer reports.
