CIA group to be disciplined for Nicaragua manual

While insisting that no laws were violated, President Reagan has authorized disciplinary action against a group of CIA employees involved in the production of a manual interpreted as advocating the assassination of officials of Nicaragua's Sandinista government. White House officials say that could amount to letters of reprimand or suspensions, but probably not dismissals.

Some Democratic members of Congress say Reagan's action does not go far enough. They are demanding an investigation of the entire command structure of the intelligence agency.
