Realtors blame high interest for slippage in home resales

The National Association of Realtors blames high interest rates for a decrease in resales of homes during the third quarter of the year. Nationwide, resales of single-family homes, apartment condominiums, and cooperatives fell 2.7 percent from the same period a year earlier. This year's figure was a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.94 million units.
