Linda's mother sits with quiet hands among silvering ladies who knit another round of booties. Linda is proud of her mother's pride saying, ``Linda had a lovely trip to Turkey.'' Were she there, my mother would remark, ``Susan's latest car does zero to sixty in 8.2.'' Susan Rawlins
