At last Mongolians will be able to read all about Genghis Khan in their own language. The New China News Agency said the first Mongolian-language biography of the Mongolian warrior (1162-1227) will be published in April. The author, Saixiyerl, took 10 years to write the 600,000-word book, which includes previously unpublished pictures of relics and scrolls.
There are some 40 monographs about Genghis Khan in a variety of languages. This is the first time a Mongolian scholar has written a complete biography.
