Who took home all those Oscars
Los Angeles
Veteran character actor Ralph Bellamy accepted an Honorary Award Oscar at the 59th Annual Academy Awards Monday, calling it the highlight of his 65-year career. It was his first Academy Award. He was nominated for best supporting actor for ``The Awful Truth'' in 1937. Bellamy has appeared in 103 movies, including ``Stage Door Canteen,'' ``The Court-Martial of Billy Mitchell,'' and ``Sunrise at Campobello,'' reprising his stage role as Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Also honored was producer-director Steven Spielberg, whose box-office successes have yet to win him an Oscar. He accepted the special Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award with a call to return to literate cinema.
