In the FAMILY

FAR-AWAY-FARM was the magnet that each summer drew our grandchildren from their urban homes together in the country. As a rule, all the cousins were great friends, but occasionally small disputes arose. So after supper at the Bunk House, we would all walk the half mile to the ``Kissin' Corner.''

Usually each child had found a round citron melon to kick. The game was to see which could last longer - bare toes or green citron. The toes almost always won!

Having arrived at the corner, everyone kissed everyone, including ``Nama'' and ``Nampa.'' Then we raced back to the house for a porch party of ice cream and cookies before bedtime.
