CZECHOSLOVAKS FREE HAVEL

Czechoslovak dissident Vaclav Havel was ordered freed from prison yesterday after serving half of an eight-month sentence for anti-government protests. A Prague district court judge granted parole to the playwright, whose imprisonment sparked international and domestic outrage, and placed him on 18 months' probation. Mr. Havel is one of the East bloc's leading dissidents.
