POINDEXTER CHARGES NARROWED

A federal judge has allowed the government to narrow a conspiracy charge in the Iran-contra indictment against former national security adviser John Poindexter. Independent counsel Lawrence Walsh sought the change to avoid problems with the disclosure of classified information.
