CONFEREES AGREE ON AIRLINE SMOKING BAN

Smoking will be banned on all US domestic flights except those to and from Alaska and Hawaii which are longer than six hours under legislation approved Monday night by a joint House-Senate conference committee. The full Senate and House must still approve the bill before it goes to President Bush.
