FROZEN FOOD'S FUTURE

The National Frozen Food Association recently asked food executives to predict how the industry will have changed 60 years from now. Among the visions of the future: solar-cooked TV dinners, fruits and vegetables that are bio-engineered for frozen-food processing, and widespread use of recyclable packaging. Scott Rahn, president of Con Agra frozen foods, has a less optimistic forecast. He says frozen food will be practically nonexistent in 60 years.
