HOW TO PLACE YOUR MESSAGE IN THE `SPACE ARCHIVE'

As part of 1992's International Space Year celebration, the Rochester Museum & Science Center is sponsoring a program to collect letters and drawings from people all over the world. The contributions will be electronically scanned, recorded on an ``optical storage medium,'' and placed aboard a spacecraft headed for the moon and Mars. The ``space archive,'' or SpaceArc, will eventually end up in solar orbit. Duplicate discs will be accessible on Earth.

To participate, you need an official archival form, available free of charge from: The Rochester Museum & Science Center, 657 East Ave., Box 1480, Rochester, NY 14603-1480.

There is a $2.50 processing fee per entry.
