US FIRMS SPEND $43.2 BILLION FOR TRAINING WORKERS

This year, United States organizations with 100 or more employees will invest $43.2 billion for formal training, down from $45.5 billion in 1990, according to a recent report by Training magazine.Despite the decrease, 36.8 million workers will have received some formal training from their employers by the end of the year. These workers will have spent a total of 1.2 billion hours in training.
