Advertising has played a role in the country's current racial problems, say marketing and media executives surveyed recently by Advertising Age.
Of 471 executives surveyed, more than half of the respondents said advertising has influenced racial problems. Fifty-five percent of them said print ads don't include enough black people, and 52 percent said the same about TV commercials.
