MRS. SORIANO'S HOT CHOCOLATE
If you don't have a chocolate miller down the street, a small electric or hand-crank mill used for milling wheat would probably work with reduced portions. An industrial-grade electric blender could also do the job. 2.2 pounds of top-quality cacao beans 4 ounces of almonds 2 ounces of cinnamon 4.4 pounds of sugar
Pulverize the beans, almonds, and cinnamon together; mix in sugar to make a grainy paste. Form into about 12 golfball-shaped chocolate drops. Allow to harden.
One drop added to boiling water makes 5 or 6 servings.
Whip to make frothy.
