Barbeque Rub

2 cup sugar

1/4 cup paprika

2 teaspoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

1/2 cup salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine all ingredients and rub mixture over entire surface of beef, chicken, or pork. Make sure a layer adheres to the meat. It is common for the rub to turn brown when grilled or sauteed.
