WORTH NOTING ON TV

* SUNDAY

Women's Open (NBC, 3-6 p.m, EDT): Final round of the 50th US Women's Open Championship at the Broadmoor Golf Course, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (CBS, 8-11 p.m.):

This reairing of the 1989 adventure film is mainly a device to introduce viewers to ''Indiana Jones Adventure: The Temple of the Forbidden Eye,'' the new ride at Disneyland. After the film is shown, John Rhys-Davies and Karen Allen, who are both in the movie, take an authentic troop transport into a replica of mysterious nooks and crannies explored during the movie by Indiana Jones in the jungles of the Indian Delta.

Lots of scary effects are called upon as viewers get a preview of the ''treacherous'' ride.

The film itself was third in the Steven Spielberg ''Indiana Jones'' trilogy. While derivative in many ways, it does include the coup of casting Sean Connery as Indy's father. Indy is looking for the Holy Grail, and his father, an eccentric and somewhat daunting professor of medieval literature, has a lifelong - and plot-convenient - interest in the Arthurian legend.

One great moment worth re-seeing is when Dad calls his son ''Junior'' just before they machine-gun a couple of Nazi villains in self-defense. As they lower their smoking guns, Indy turns to his Dad and irately says, ''Don't call me Junior!''

* MONDAY

MTV News Unfiltered (MTV, 10-10:30 p.m.): It could be called a cheap way to recruit stringers, I suppose, but MTV has opened its news beat to - well, to everyone. It has invited viewers to phone in story ideas, then picked out a few and given the chosen viewer a camera to do the story.

The first results will be shown on the quarterly series premiering here. The opener includes pieces like a female college student's story of her being sexually harassed on campus, an underground high school paper that blasts some of its own school's classes, and other items of a kind not often seen on the regular news.
