WORTH NOTING ON TV

* SATURDAY

This Old House (PBS, 1:30-2 p.m.): The Emmy-winning home-improvement series travels to Georgia for eight episodes. The project: renovating and expanding a three-story Italianate Victorian row house in Savannah's National Historic Landmark District.

America's Most Wanted (FOX, 9-10 p.m.): As a result of this seven-year-old series, which profiles fugitives in hopes of receiving viewer tips, there have been 400 captures. This episode celebrates the landmark number and recognizes law-enforcement officials, concerned citizens, and viewers who have made a difference.

* SUNDAY

Clark Gable: Tall, Dark and Handsome (TNT, 7-8 p.m.): This profile of the ''King of Hollywood'' features clips from his films and touches on events in his personal life. Preceding the program is Gable's best-known film, the epic Gone With the Wind (TNT, 2-7 p.m.).

The Story of Cabrini Greens (HGTV, 9-10 p.m.): In Chicago's run-down Cabrini Green housing project, children are planting, tending, and harvesting a gourmet garden of vegetables that are sold to some of Chicago's finest restaurants. Home & Garden Television's documentary traces the project's positive impact.

Gulliver's Travels (NBC, 9-11 p.m.): Newlyweds Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen star in this adaptation of Jonathan Swift's satire of 18th-century England. The miniseries concludes Monday in the same time slot.

* MONDAY

Second Noah (ABC, 8-9 p.m.): Noah Beckett (Daniel Hugh Kelly), a best-selling author, and his wife, Jesse (Betsy Brantley), chief veterinarian at a wild-animal park in Florida, have eight adopted children from various ethnic backgrounds. The premise for this new series may be unrealistic and cheesy, but its gentle portrayal of themes like friendship and honesty makes it one of the few dramas families can enjoy together. Children will delight in shots of cuddly and exotic animals.
