Red gold on the vine
March 24, 1999
Of the thousands of vegetables that can be grown, Americans generally raise only a few dozen types, and juicy, homegrown tomatoes are among the most popular. Named as a 1999 All-America Selection is the new hybrid 'Juliet' tomato. The plant produces plum-shaped cherry tomatoes in a grape-like cluster. The fruits are sweet, and resist cracking.
