Rolling in lilacs

The Sunday after Mother's Day is Lilac Sunday at Boston's Arnold Arboretum, with picnics, tours, and morris dancing. Here, Rimma Pivovaros and her brother Gary take turns rolling down a hill in the 265-acre park owned by Harvard University. It has 16,000 plant specimens, including 230 kinds of lilacs.
