last weekend's royal wedding wasn't picture-perfect, informed sources in London report. When Queen Elizabeth II's family assembled for the official photograph after the marriage of Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones, grandson William didn't - or wouldn't - smile on cue. Unacceptable, the groom decided. So the teenage prince's face was digitally removed on Edward's orders, and an earlier shot of him laughing was substituted.

Vacationing in Los Angeles this year? Then you might be interested to know about the city's newest tourist promotion. It's Watts, the neighborhood best known for the nation's first inner-city race riot of the long, hot summer of 1965. Free bus tours of Watts landmarks are aimed at burnishing its image and, ultimately, attracting new investment. Said one of the first 50 visitors who took advantage of the opportunity: "I felt at home; it was fabulous."

'Tarzan' swings to the top in weekend box-office returns

Disney's animated film "Tarzan" edged out "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" to take top film honors for the weekend. The military thriller "The General's Daughter," starring John Travolta, was a strong third. Studio executives said it was the first time they could recall three movies grossing more than $20 million on the same weekend. Meanwhile, "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" crossed the $300 million mark in total receipts. Reported grosses June 18-20 at North American theaters (in millions):
