AT&T produced the first "picturephone" (above) in time for display at the 1964 World's Fair. It never took off commercially. Now, Kyocera Corp is touting its Visual Phone VP-210 (right), which it unveiled at the International Wireless and Mobile Solution Exhibition in Tokyo last month. The video phone can send and receive color images of those using them. Soon you'll be able to face off against unwelcome telemarketers.
