WHAT: On The College Board's Web site students can register for the SAT, review practice questions, and apply to colleges and universities.
BEST POINTS: The site allows students and parents to search for specific information on more than 3,500 two- and four-year colleges, learn about a variety of career options, and analyze college costs. It also features a guide to financial aid and private scholarships. One section explains why college is important and which jobs require higher degrees.
The SAT Learning Center includes a list of test-registration deadlines. You can also take a mini-SAT test and learn how to interpret your scores.
