Having read the first five of Louise Penny's mysteries, starting with "Still Life," I'm now on her sixth, Bury Your Dead. Chief Inspector Armand Gamache of the Sûreté du Québec, a homicide detective with heart and soul, solves cases that revolve around a cast of complex characters. This series of literate and historically informative novels features the fictional village of Three Pines outside Montreal.
