The Catcher in the Rye

I’m currently reading The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I picked it up because I’m 20 years old and want to know what the fuss is all about. I think I need to speak to some lit majors or something because I’m just not understanding the hype. We’ll see after I finish it.
