Open Veins of Latin America
July 21, 2009
As my wife and I migrated to the United States in the winter of 1968 after 6 years of waiting for a visa, being very young and full of dreams with the possibility of a brighter future, we left Uruguay with lots of questions that had no answers. Now, through reading Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano, we finally have answers. "Open Veins of Latin America" points out the miscalculations and errors.
