Finding Oz

Finding Oz by Evan I Schwartz was recommended to me by a friend who listened to an interview of the author on public radio.  She knew I read voraciously about children's books.  "Finding Oz" is particularly interesting to me as well as I have been writing/researching my own Great-Grandmother Lillie's childhood.  Schwartz provides such rich detail of life in America in the second half of the 1800's.  The added bonus for me is it holds the double interest: children's books and the history of one very special  story and my own great-grandmother's era ... up close.  Loved it!
